This post shows how Vanta+ prints each kind of block. Body text is set in Source Serif 4, headings in Archivo, labels and code in Space Mono. Links use the first ink and turn to the second on hover.
Headings are numbered
Each second-level heading gets a number in the second ink, and the same number appears in the contents column. If you number headings yourself, the theme notices and steps aside.
A third-level heading
Third-level headings stay unnumbered and appear indented in the contents.
Quotes
A regular quote keeps the body face, in italics, with a rule in the second ink.
The alternative quote style becomes a pull quote.
Lists and tables
- Bullets use the ✳ mark.
- In the second ink.
- Like the logo.
- Numbered lists use the mono face.
- In the first ink.
| Setting | Where | Default |

Code
Inline code looks like this. Blocks are printed on the first ink with an offset shadow and a language label.
const inks = ['pink', 'blue'];
inks.forEach((ink) => console.log(`drum: ${ink}`));Cards
Toggles keep a heavy rule
Hiding the contents
Add the internal tag #no-toc to any post to hide the contents column and the floating bar on phones.
